If your dog is exhibiting unwanted behaviors such as digging, jumping, excessive chewing, or struggling with crate training, private, in-home training is the most effective solution. I tailor each training plan to your dog’s specific needs, using a combination of management strategies, training techniques, or both to achieve lasting results. Together, we’ll find the best approach to help your dog develop better habits and thrive in your home.
Jumping up
While a small dog jumping up may be harmless, a larger dog can unintentionally cause harm. I’ll work with your dog on impulse control, teaching them to down/stay, sit for greetings, and go to their mat for quiet time when visitors arrive.
Digging
Have you heard the saying, “You can’t take the dig out of the dog?” What it means is that while you can’t eliminate certain natural impulses, you can manage them effectively. Whether we focus on management strategies, like providing a special sandbox for digging, or train an alternate behavior, such as fetch, we’ll work together to find a solution that works for you and your family.
